Kingdome and Seattle Mariners history (1977–1999)
The Kingdome, officially the King County Domed Stadium, housed the Seattle Mariners for 22½ seasons. It hosted the club's first game, the 1979 All-Star Game, and the 1995 postseason run before the Mariners moved to Safeco Field during the 1999 season.
