RTA's Tower City walkway leads to Rocket Arena, across from Progressive Field. It is a useful option to compare with driving, especially when another event adds to downtown traffic. Check the current transit schedule for your date.
For seats, let your group's comfort narrow the choice: stairs, distance from the action, and exposure for that day's start time. On a cool evening, an extra layer can make those late, close innings much easier to enjoy.
