Know whether your ticket includes a seat
An Outfield District ticket is general admission and does not include a reserved seat. That makes it a different purchase from a ticket in the rebuilt lower bowl. The Entertainment District puts restaurants and hotels near the ballpark. If you are staying in the area, check the walking route before defaulting to a car. A meal near your hotel followed by a walk can be a pleasant way to start, provided the distance works for everyone.
For a longer journey, consult the Blue Jays' transport page and your transit operator's current schedule. Toronto has plenty to fill the hours before the game; give the last walk to the park a little breathing room.

Let the roof be a bonus
